Mozilla Firefox is no stranger to RSS Feeds, and it shows. Calling them, "Live Bookmarks" and allowing you to put a drop down menu right onto the top toolbars of the browser is what really makes Firefox shine when it comes to RSS Feeds. It offers INSTANT access to all the RSS Feeds you want to keep track of. Furthermore, Firefox makes it VERY simple to add a new RSS Feed to your browser - only requiring a few clicks.
While surfing around the internet, when you come to a site that offers RSS Feeds, you will notice an orange symbol on the right side of the address bar, like so:

When you see this symbol, and you'd like to keep up-to-date on new changes made to the site, simply click on this symbol.

This will cause a window to pop down from the top of the browser, asking for information on the RSS Feed. By default, it will enter the name of the site you're currently visiting. It will automatically suggest that you put the RSS Feed onto your Bookmark Toolbar, which is the bar that runs just beneath the address bar. If you would like it to be in your list of bookmarks, instead, you can click on that option and change it. Otherwise, just click, "Add" or, "OK" - whichever button your system provides.

You should now see your RSS Feed listed under your address bar (on your Bookmark Toolbar) or in the Bookmark menu if you changed where you wanted it to show up.

If you click on the Live Bookmark (i.e. RSS Feed) it will offer you a list of the last several blog / newsletter posts. If you click on one of these titles, it will take you directly to that post where you can read it.

These instructions apply to almost every RSS Feed you will come across. If you'd like further, more detailed instructions, please refer to Firefox Help's Firefox Bookmark Tutorial or give us a call at 1-360-565-8400.
